Girl's Day

Today is March 3rd. Girls' Day in Japan.

I thought I'd show my mini-quilt again today (I'm putting it away at the end of the day) and the one that the pre-school principal made too.

The pre-school principal just sent me a picture from her cell phone telling me that she finished in time for today's holiday! Well done! She had thought when she started that she was making it for NEXT year's Girls' Day. She surprised herself!






And this lovely display is Mrs. Furui's Girls' Day dolls. She has three sons so this is in JUST for her!
